The Pebble Time smartwatch app is finally available on iOS.

The news follows a social media campaign by Pebble encouraging its customers to help get it approved for the App Store by expressing their desire to see the app, which was already available for Android users, made available on Apple platforms.

The app connects to iPhones and other iOS devices using Bluetooth, alerting users to incoming calls, emails, messages and alerts. It also includes a host of other apps, ranging from Domino's Pizza to PayPal.

Earlier this month the latest Pebble Time smartwatch -- a potential competitor for the Apple watch -- went into production, after smashing records to become the most-funded Kickstarter project ever.
