The central government is likely to release the 10 installment of the Prime Minister Kisan Samman Nidhi (PM Kisan) in December. Farmers are eagerly waiting for the amount under the scheme to get credited into their account before the new year begins. But did you know that the status of the installment can be checked online by visiting PM Kisan official website or by downloading the PM Kisan Application on your smartphone? For the uninitiated, PM Kisan is a central sector scheme to provide income support to all landholding farmers' families in the country to supplement their financial needs for procuring various inputs related to agriculture and allied activities as well as domestic needs.

The scheme was announced in February 2019 and till date 9 installments have been credited to farmers accounts. As per the reports, PM Kisan 10th installment date is likely in the middle of the month of December, 2021. Under the scheme an annual financial benefit of ₹6,000 is provided to eligible beneficiary farmer families. The amount is credited directly to the bank account of the famers in three equal installments of ₹2,000 each, every four month.

After the 10th installment gets credited in the account of the beneficiaries, the following steps can be used to check the status:

Step 1: To check PM Kisan 10th installment status, visit the PM Kisan Samman Nidhi website at pmkisan.gov.in.

Step 2: Click on the 'Beneficiary Status' tab present on the home page.

Step 3: Select either of the options - Aadhaar number, Account number, or Mobile number.

Step 4: After choosing the selected option, click on 'Get Data'.

How to download the PM Kisan Mobile Application:

Step 1: Go to the official website of PM Kisan or click on the link- https://pmkisan.gov.in/.

Step 2: From the Farmers Corner available on th right side of the homepage click on 'Download PMKISAN Mobile App'.

Step 3: A new page will open which will direct you to the Google Play store. From there you can directly click on the install button to get the app downloaded on your phone.

However, You can also directly go to the Google Play store on your Android device and type PM Kisan App and can download it from there as well.

Similar to the official website, using the PM Kisan Mobile Application, beneficiaries can register themselves, know the status about their registration and payments, correct name as per Aadhaar, know about the scheme and can dial helpline numbers.
