How to send happy Raksha Bandhan WhatsApp wishes, stickers: The season of festivals is here. India is celebrating Raksha Bandhan 2021 also known as Rakhi today. The day is dedicated to the bond between brothers and sisters. One of the most interesting and easiest ways to celebrate this day from a distance is by sharing stickers and GIFs on WhatsApp app. While WhatsApp natively doesn't offer Rakhi stickers, users can download third-party sticker packs from Google Play Store and Apple App Store to share the same. Here's how to send happy Raksha Bandhan WhatsApp wishes, stickers:

How to add Raksha Bandhan stickers to WhatsApp

Step 1: Open Google Play Store on your smartphone (Android smartphone or iPhone) and type ‘Raksha Bandhan WhatsApp stickers' or ‘Rakhi 2021 WhatsApp stickers' in the search bar to import third-party WhatsApp stickers for the upcoming festival. There aren't many third-party apps for iOS. So, if you are using an iPhone, you can use Sticker.ly.

Step 2: Now choose the sticker pack apps that you want to use. Then click on the Install button to install them on your smartphone.

Step 3: Once the sticker app has been installed on your smartphone, open it and tap on the ‘Open Stickers packs' option.

Step 4: Upon doing so, you will see a list of Raksha Bandhan sticker packs. Select the ones that you want to use and tap on the ‘Plus' icon on the right side of every sticker pack. Doing so will enable you to add it to your sticker collection.

Step 5: Next, the sticker app will show various options wherein these sticker packs can be added. You will most likely see WhatsApp and Telegram options. Tap on WhatsApp to add these sticker packs to the app.

Step 6: Now, confirm your selection by tapping on the ‘Add' option. Once you do so, you will find all these sticker packs in the Sticker section inside WhatsApp.

How to share Raksha Bandhan GIFs on WhatsApp

Apart from sharing stickers both live and animated, users can also share GIFs with their siblings at the upcoming festival. Here's a step-by-step guide for you:

Step 1: Open the chat in WhatsApp wherein you want to share the GIF.

Step 2: Tap on the sticker icon on the right side of the chat bar.

Step 3: Next tap on the GIF option.

Step 4: Now, tap on the search option.

Step 4: Type Raksha Bandhan or Rakhi in the search bar.

Step 5: Tap on the GIF that you want to share and then hit the Send button.
