Realme 2 goes on sale today via Flipkart: Price, specifications, offers

Realme 2 succeeds the Realme 1 smartphone with upgrades like a notch display and a dual-camera setup.

Realme launched its second smartphone in India last week. Realme 2 will go on its first sale today at 12:00pm exclusively via Flipkart.

Realme 2 starts at ₹8,990 for the 3GB+32GB variant. The smartphone also comes with 4GB RAM and 64GB storage which is priced at ₹10,990. Some of the launch offers on the Realme 2 include a flat discount of ₹750 for HDFC debit and credit card holders. Flipkart is also offering its "Complete Mobile Protection" scheme on the Realme 2 at ₹199.

Buyers can also exchange their old phones and get a minimum discount of ₹500. Jio users will get benefits along with additional data of 120GB. Realme is also offering a free case cover and screen protector along with the device.

Realme 2 specifications

Realme 2 succeeds the Realme 1 smartphones with upgrades like a notch display and a dual-camera setup. The smartphone features a HD+ 6.2-inch display with Corning Gorilla Glass 3 protection on top. Under its hood, runs Qualcomm's Snapdragon 450 processor paired with Adreno 506 GPU. On the software front, it runs ColorOS based on Android 8.1 Oreo.

The dual-camera setup on the Realme 2 consists of 13-megapixel and 2-megapixel sensors with f/2.2 aperture and f/2.4 aperture. For selfies, there's an 8-megapixel front-facing camera. Its connectivity options include dual SIM support, dual 4G VoLTE, a 3.5mm headphone jack, Bluetooth, Wi-Fi and GPS.

The phone also comes with fingerprint sensor on the back. It also features face unlock for additional security. Keeping the smartphone ticking is a 4,230mAh battery.
