Realme 2 with notch display, dual-cameras to launch in India soon

Realme entered the Indian phone market in May this year with Realme1 budget smartphone. The company will soon launch a new smartphone with new design and dual-cameras.

Realme, which recently parted ways with parent company Oppo, is set to launch its second smartphone in India soon. Ahead of the official launch, the company has started putting out teasers for its new smartphone, dubbed as Realme 2.

The new teasers also give away a few details of the new Realme 2. For instance, the new Realme phone will come with a bezel-less design along with a notch on the top. Another teaser reveals the vertical dual-rear camera setup.

In case you didn't know, Realme is a new brand that launched in India in May this year. The company launched Realme 1 smartphone focused on delivering premium design at affordable price. The phone came with a plastic panel with glass finish and graphic design. It also has a few Artificial Intelligence-based features like vivid bokeh mode and beautification mode.  

With price starting at 8,990, Realme 1 comes with 6-inch full HD+ display with 18:9 aspect ratio. It runs on MediaTek's Helio P20 AI processor clocked at 2.0GHz along with 3GB/32GB, 4GB/64GB , and 6GB/128GB.  

Other features of Realme1 include 3,410mAh battery with AI battery management, ColorOS 5.0 based on Android 8.1 Oreo, 13-megapixel rear camera and an 8-megapixel front camera. The phone comes with 'Facial Unlock' but doesn't have a fingerprint sensor. ALSO READ: Top features of Oppo Realme 1
