Realme on Tuesday launched a new smartphone, Realme 2, in India. The smartphone is available in two variants 3GB RAM with 32GB storage and 4GB storage with 64GB storage, priced at ₹8,990 and ₹10,990 respectively. The phone will go on sale in India on September 4 exclusively via Flipkart.
Realme 2 has the same "diamond cut" design as on the Realme 1. The phone has a fiberglass back panel with graphics. Unlike the predecessor, Realme 2 now offers a notch display with 19:9 aspect ratio. The new Realme also has a larger battery with 4,230mAh capacity.
Realme 2: Full specifications
Realme 2 features a 6.2-inch HD+ display with Corning Gorilla Glass 3 protection. It runs on ColorOS (Android 8.1 Oreo) and is powered by a 1.8GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon 450 processor along with adreno 506 for graphics. The smartphone comes in two options -- 3GB RAM with 32GB storage and 4GB storage with 64GB storage.
For photography, Realme 2 offers a dual-rear camera setup which consists of 13-megapixel and 2-megapixel sensors with f/2.2 aperture and f/2.4 aperture. It has an 8-megapixel front-facing camera.
Connectivity options include dual-SIM, dual VoLTE, microUSB, 3.5mm headphone jack, Bluetooth, Wi-Fi and GPS. The phone also comes with fingerprint sensor on the back. It is powered by a 4,230mAh battery.
