The global 5G summit will have speakers from Realme and these companies talk about the 5G adoption, devices and chip makers, and more. Realme will also announce the launch time of two upcoming 5G flagships at this event.

The Realme 5G summit is scheduled to take place today at 2:30 pm IST. It will be open for everyone to join the livestream. The event will start with keynotes and presentations followed by a panel discussion and Q&A. The first speaker will be Kalvin Bahia, Principal Economist at GSMA Intelligence who will talk about 5G connectivity, barriers, and macro impact. The second keynote will be on 5G experiences and accessibility by Peter Richardson, VP & Research Director, Counterpoint Research.

Madhav Sheth will also take the stage to talk on the topic “5G Accelerates Smart Life for the Young Tech Natives.” More speakers include Johnny Chen, Realme's Brand Director, and Rajen Vagadia, VP and President of Qualcomm India & SAARC.

Realme also plans on announcing the launch time of two upcoming 5G flagships. There have been reports of Realme GT 5G launching outside China soon. It's expected to launch in Europe first, and then hit other markets including India. Realme GT 5G comes with the Qualcomm Snapdragon 888 processor, and up to 12GB of RAM and 256GB of internal storage. The smartphone has a triple camera setup with a 64-megapixel primary sensor, and a 16-megapixel front camera. Realme GT 5G also packs a 4,500mAh battery with support for 65W fast charging.

Realme GT 5G could make its debut in Europe today at the 5G summit. Realme also has 5G events planned for India on June 10 which could be when it launches the 5G phone here. Realme already has a bunch of 5G smartphones in India including the most affordable one. It recently launched the Realme X7 Max 5G here. Realme GT 5G would be the company's new 5G flagship offering in India.
