Reliance Jio users to get 2 days FREE service; know who can get it
Reliance Jio users will get two days of extra service for free and this freebie will be added to their plan.
Reliance Jio users from Mumbai had reported that they had faced massive network issues on Saturday, February 5 and that the service was down for almost eight hours. These Jio plan users were unable to access any service at all. To compensate for the loss of Jio users, the telecom company announced that it will provide two days of free service to all those Jio users who had faced network outage issues. The extra days of service will be automatically added to the users' registered number while extending the existing subscription plan for another two days. You will not need to go to Jio App or do anything else, as this is for free.
Reliance Jio is informing about the news to all those Jio users who got affected by the network going down issue, which reads, "As a goodwill gesture, we are extending a 2-DAY RENTAL CREDIT that will get applied to your number automatically. The complimentary rental credit will reflect in your next bill," Telecom Talk reported. Though here you need to note that not all Reliance Jio users will get the benefit of extra days of service, only those who faced problems.
This is not the first time…
Jio users might be aware of it. This is not the first time when Reliance Jio has had to compensate for a network outage. Last year in October, Jio users had to face similar kind of network issues. Thereafter, Reliance Jio had offered two days of a free unlimited plan to all the affected Jio subscribers to compensate for their loss.
Jio's networks have gone down for hours for the second time in just a year. The compensation for the two days means a benefit of anything between ₹20- ₹40 from Jio for most of the customers according to their plan. Sadly, for this freebie, Jio users had to suffer network connectivity issues for hours.
