Reliance Industries will hold its 43rd Annual General Meeting (AGM) on Wednesday. This is the first time the company will hold a virtual AGM. The event is scheduled to start at 2:00 PM IST.

Just like every year, Reliance will stream the event live on the company's official website as well as YouTube. For the first time, Reliance will allow users to enter the webinar through JioMeet video conferencing platform.

This year, Reliance has also launched a chatbot on WhatsApp to help users, company's shareholders, prospective investors, and media to get real-time updates from the event.

The chatbot has been developed by Jio Haptik Technologies. To get started with the chatbot, you need to message “Hi” to 79771 11111. The bot will be available 24x7.

Reliance's 43rd AGM is going to see a slew of new announcements including updates on its new services such as JioMart. The company will give an update on its O2C deal with Saudi's Aramco. Other key focus areas are expected to be the roadmap for Jio Fiber, Jio Platforms, and lots more.

The event comes after Reliance raised 118,318.45 crore from as many as 13 foreign investments. Recently, US-based chipmaker Qualcomm announced investing 730 crore for a 0.15% stake. Facebook, however, has been the biggest investor so far. The social media company has acquired 9.90% stake in Jio Platforms for 43,573.62 crore.
