The last home console from Sega was the Dreamcast, famously discontinued at the turn of the century, but the erstwhile manufacturer is now lending its name to a range of laptop PCs furnished with nostalgic designs.

The Sega Note PC is being produced for Japanese retailer Enterbrain and comes in four swappable flavors, with three of the case designs styled after a trio of Sega consoles from the 1980s and '90s -- the Sega Genesis, Sega Saturn and white console swansong the Dreamcast.

Each totes a 15.6-inch display and prices range from ¥99,750 ($1,065) up to a hefty ¥194,250 ($2,070) for top-level features: Windows8, a busy Intel i7 processor, 120GB solid state hard drive, 8GB memory, and a Blu-ray read/write drive.
