If you enjoy open-world games with high octane car chases, brutal hand-to-hand combat, stylish gunfights and an engaging plot, then Sleeping Dogs has your name written all over it. In it, you step into the boots of undercover cop, Wei Shen as he attempts to infiltrate Hong Kong's deadliest Triad organisation, the Sun On Yee.
Sleeping Dogs isn't very original because all its core game play mechanics have been done before in other games, but it ties them in very well together. Mechanics like hand-to-hand combat, free running, gunplay, vehicular combat and racing transition so well into one another that you'll never get bored in any mission.
The game does suffer from repetitive side quests and minor camera issues, but these are really negligible nitpickings in the overall context.
