Smartron tband with ECG, BP monitoring feature launched
Apart from ECG and BP monitoring features, tband can measure heart rate as well as resting heart rate.
Smartron on Thursday launched its first wearable device, tband. Priced at ₹4,999, Smartron tband will be available online via Flipkart from May 13. The company claims tband is the first ever smart band to come with support for ECG (Electrocardiography) and BP (Blood Pressure) monitoring. Users can keep a tab of their health data through a dedicated 'thealth' application which also gives Health Index score which is a combination of activity tracking, calorie count, sleeping patterns, stress & fatigue levels as well as Blood Pressure and Heart Health.
Apart from ECG and BP monitoring features, tband can measure heart rate as well as resting heart rate. Along with basic fitness parameters such as calorie burn, steps and running distance, with sleep tracking, the tband also serves date on sleep patterns and efficiency. Users can also customise the wearable through customisable alerts for waking up and medicine reminders, DnD option, inactive and SOS alerts, SMS and call notifications, said the company in a press release.
The tband design can be further customised with 18mm changeable watch straps making it a stylish accessory. Other key features of tband include IP67 certification for water and dust resistance. The band is compatible with both iOS and Android smartphones, sporting an OLED display with a 100mAh LI battery that lasts for 2-4 days depending on notifications and usage.
