As the name suggests, this feature lets users lock their Facebook profile. This will restrict access to your photos, timelines and posts from non-friends. Facebook designed this feature for users in India especially women.

If you're an avid Messenger user you might want to be wary of scams. Messenger shares safety notices regularly in your chat to provide tips on how to spot suspicious activity. You can also choose to block or ignore suspicious users.

Off-Facebook Activity is basically user activity that businesses and organisations share with Facebook like visiting their apps and websites. This is used to show relevant ads suggest groups and events. you can choose to disconnect your information from your Facebook account and disconnect future Off-Facebook Activity as well. 

Manage Your Activity

A recent feature Facebook introduced is Manage Your Activity that lets users delete old posts or archive them. It's easier to remove really old posts from your timeline with this tool.

Restrict data for apps

Facebook has limited apps from getting your data. By default apps can get your name, profile photo and email address. To get more data that will need the user's approval.
