Southern Railway, has invited applications for various trade apprentices on its regional website www.sr.indianrailways.gov.in. A total of 1261 vacancies are announced for various posts- Carriage Work, Perambur, Central Workshop, Golden Rock, and Signal & Telecommunication Workshop / Podanur. The interested and eligible candidates can complete the registration process to apply for the vacancies on or before October 31, 2022. Age Limit: Applicants must have completed 15 years and must not exceed 22-24 years as per the posts. Relaxation in the upper age limit will be provided to the reserved category as per government rules.

Educational Qualification: Candidates must have passed the class 10 exam or equivalent with a minimum of 50% marks. They must possess an ITI certificate issued by any NCVT recognised Industrial Training Institute in relevant trade.
