It was an interesting day in the world of technology today. On one hand, Facebook’s family of apps suffered a brief outage. On the other hand, Google launched its TikTok rival Threadit. In addition to that, Micromax launched its In 1 smartphone in India.

**Facebook, WhatsApp, Instagram suffer a brief outage**

Facebook’s family of apps, which includes [WhatsApp, Facebook and Instagram](https://tech.hindustantimes.com/tech/news/whatsapp-facebook-instagram-down-for-many-users-71616177012744.html) suffered a brief outage on late Friday evening. The issue began at around 11PM and it was resolved quickly around 11:30PM.

**Telegram rolls out a major update on its platform**

Telegram today introduced an updated version of the feature called Voice Chats 2.0 on its platform. Additionally, the company has also introduced Raise Hands and Join As features on its platform. You can check all the details here.

**Samsung Galaxy A52, Galaxy A72 launched in India**

Samsung today launched the Galaxy A52 and the Galaxy A72 in India. The Samsung Galaxy A52 starts at ₹ 26,499, while the Galaxy A72 starts at ₹ 34,999.

**Google launches Threadit**

Google today launched a new tool for work called [Threadit](https://tech.hindustantimes.com/tech/news/google-has-a-new-tool-called-threadit-that-lets-you-send-tiktok-like-videos-for-work-71616149967058.html). It is supposed to make remote working easier and more efficient by allowing users to send small recorded videos, like Instagram Reels or TikTok, to team members.

**Micromax In 1 launched in India**
