It was a day dedicated to launches today. Tech companies launched a total of four smartphones, which includes the Realme C20A, Lava Z2 Max, Infinix Hot 10T and the Vivo Y12s 2021. In addition to that, reports detailed that Instagram will now let users list their pronoun.

So, here’s what happened in tech today:

Realme C20A launched

Realme launched the budget Realme C20 smartphone in Bangladesh. It is priced at BDT 8,990 which roughly translates to 7,800. The smartphone comes in two colour options of Iron Grey and Lake Blue.

Lava Z2 Max launched

Lava today launched the Lava Z2 Max smartphone in India. The handset is priced at 7,799 and is available through Lava’s e-store and e-commerce platforms such as Flipkart and Amazon.

Infinix Hot 10T launched

Infinix has launched a new smartphone under its Hot 10 series. Infinix Hot 10T is priced at KES 15,499 ( 10,700 approx) for the base model with 4GB RAM and 64GB storage in Kenya. You can check all the details here.

Vivo is rolling out Y12s 2021 in more markets. The smartphone is a follow up to the last year’s Y12s and comes with a few upgrades. The 2021 model is now available in Vietnam for roughly $140 ( 10,000 approximately). The phone had launched in India in January this year for 9,990.

Instagram will let people list their pronouns on their profiles

Instagram will let users add up to four pronouns to their profile that will appear next to their username. This feature will be turned on by default to users under the age of 18, The Verge reported.
