It was an interesting day in the world of technology today. On one hand, the Indian government launched the Umang International app. On the other hand, Google announced Google RCS.

In addition to that, fake Xiaomi products were seized in Bengaluru and Chennai.

Umang International launched

Indian Minister of Electronics and IT, Communications, and Law and Justice, Ravi Shankar Prasad today launched the international version of the government's Umang app. The app is called Umang International.

Fake Xiaomi seized in Bengaluru, Chennai

The police today busted a racket of fake Xiaomi products in Bengaluru and Chennai. The police seized fake Xiaomi goods worth 33.2 lakhs in the two cities. 

PhonePe onboards all electricity boards pan India

PhonePe today announced that it has successfully onboarded 73 electricity boards across India. This would enable PhonePe users across the country to pay their electricity bills using PhonePe's platform.

Google RCS announced globally

Google today announced that its RCS-based messaging is now available across the globe. RCS will bring new chat features as an upgrade over the traditional SMS text messaging.
