The Great Indian Festival, Big Billion Days sales are coming soon

Waited long enough for online shopping? Flipkart and Amazon are gearing up for their annual mega sale. Here is what we know about the two sales so far.

The festive season is fast approaching, and that means a new round of shopping. Considering the Covid-19 situation, a lot of people may prefer buying products online. E-commerce companies Flipkart and Amazon have already begun the preparations for the season. Both companies have started teasing their mega annual sales.

Flipkart will host The Big Billion Days sale whereas Amazon is gearing up for The Great Indian Festival. Formal dates for both the online sale have not been announced yet and are currently listed as “coming soon” on their respective platforms. Let's take a look at what Flipkart and Amazon are promising to customers.

Amazon The Great Indian Festival

Amazon has partnered with HDFC Bank to offer a 10% instant discount on transactions with debit and credit cards and EMIs. Just like every year, Prime members. There will be exchange offers (up to 13,000) on mobiles, washing machines, laptops and tablets, air conditioners, televisions, and refrigerators.

You can also avail EMI schemes from Bajaj Finserv (on debit card EMI, credit card EMI, and Bajaj Finserv EMI). Amazon is promising “never before prices” on mobile and accessories, and “rock bottom prices” on electronic and accessories. As expected, you can get discounts on Echo, Fire TV and Kindle devices.

Flipkart The Big Billion Days

Flipkart has teamed up with State Bank of India to offer up to 10% instant discount on SBI debit and credit cards. Flipkart Plus customers will get an early pass to the online sale.

According to Flipkart, users can get no-cost EMI option from banks such as HDFC Bank, SBI, and more. Bajaj Finserv will facilitate no-cost EMI offers.

Some of the confirmed offers are mobile protection bundle for Re 1, exchange offers, up to 80% off on appliances and electronics and accessories, and Flipkart's private brands.

Flipkart will host “Maha price drop” sale (with extra 20% off) during The Big Billion Days. New deals under “crazy deals” will be hosted at 12 AM, 8 AM, and 4 PM. Rush hours (with lowest prices of the sale) will run until 2 AM.
