All Idea postpaid users migrated to Vodafone Red, check the benefits

Vodafone Idea Limited (VIL) on Wednesday announced the completion of the migration of Idea postpaid customers to Vodafone Red. This integration would give all users a uniform experience enabling all Vodafone Idea prepaid subscribers to avail benefits of the Vodafone RED plan.

This means that from now on, Idea postpaid customers don't need to go through a separate on-boarding and service experience. They can now avail Red Family subscription, which provides a single bill for the entire family, access to Vodafone Play, premium content and a bunch of other value added services using Vodafone's existing platform.

In addition to providing all Vodafone Idea postpaid subscribers a uniform experience, it will enable the company to provide a uniform customer experience through its self-service channels with options on IVR, USSD, MyVodafone App and websites for availing products, services and making payments.

Additionally, customers will be able to receive timely notification and alerts for any over usage. The integration will also automate the credit monitoring system ensuring that customers do not incur huge bills thus avoiding bill shocks.

Vodafone Idea Limited also said that with this consolidation, Call Centre Agents will be able to serve customers better using the CRM insights provided through 360-degree-view on customer information, interactions and service profiles adding that the real time rating functionality will ensure accurate unbilled charging for customers at any given point of time.

Apart from this, the integration would also make it easy for the company to deploy new age technologies such as M-MIMO, DSR, Hybrid Cloud, OpenRan to enhance capacities and increased 4G coverage.

“One of the biggest and fastest migration in the telecom space, this has led to operational synergies and process standardisation for both our postpaid retail and enterprise customers. It enables us to provide enhanced customer experience to our postpaid users,” Vishant Vora, Chief Technology Officer, Vodafone Idea said on the occasion.
