WhatsApp is going to change its camera UI soon. How? Do you remember how you get the option to pick photos while opening the camera in your WhatsApp account? Yes, we are talking about that horizontal trail of pictures that comes with the camera option. Now, it will be condensed in a single button for iPhone users, Wabetainfo report revealed. This new WhatsApp Camera UI will be available to iPhone users. The WhatsApp beta for iOS 22.4.0.72 brings this new WhatsApp Camera UI which is marked as compatible.

“The changes are already available to beta testers today, and more tweaks for the WhatsApp camera are likely to come with the next updates,” Wabetainfo informed. And what has been changed by this WhatsApp update? The horizontal media trail at the top of the camera icon which lets you choose the images directly from the gallery to upload on status will now be accessible through one more tap on the gallery icon button at the bottom left corner for iPhone users. In addition to this, the screenshot shared by Wabetainfo suggests that WhatsApp camera switch button too has been redesigned, which changes the camera from rear to front and vice versa. It removes the accessibility of the latest media preview from the gallery to upload.

Well, this is not the only latest update. Several other features and updates are also coming to WhatsApp users. It has been reported that WhatsApp Beta will get a dark theme with its latest update of 2.2205.2.0, which will remain active in all WhatsApp sections, say settings page, chat background, and title bar. If you use the dark theme on Windows, WhatsApp will change the theme to dark mode automatically. But if you don't then, you can also select a theme directly from WhatsApp Settings and then General. You will need to restart the phone to make the changes if you want to use a new theme.

Also, WhatsApp Desktop users may get the updated voice notes listening features, which will let you hear voice messages even outside the chat. That means you will no longer have to wait in a particular chat to listen to the whole recording at once - in short, you can multi-task. However, you will have to wait a while longer to let WhatsApp roll out these features to all the users.
