WhatsApp Delta lets you modify sent messages and a lot more BUT…
WhatsApp Delta is everything that you want WhatsApp to be and then some more. While the standard app restricts mostly to basic texting and entertainment usage, the modded Delta version brings up certain special features and functions. From modifying the interface to sending large files, this Delta version has a lot to offer but you shouldn't download it.
Yeah, it sounds depressing that you are advised not to download a version of the app that is theoretically better than the original version. However, there are reasons pertaining to security and safety of your data on the device. It does not make sense to try an app for its new features and eventually end up compromising your privacy.
WhatsApp Delta: What is it?
In layman's English, WhatsApp Delta is essentially a modified version of the regular WhatsApp app you and me use. The idea behind these modified versions is to offer an enhanced messaging experience with new and better features. WhatsApp Delta is developed by Deltalabs Studios and can be downloaded via third-party app depositories.
With WhatsApp Delta, you can get to customize your WhatsApp experience. You will be able to change accent colours from the usual green, change the UI, apply customized font, and more. The mod also brings features such as auto-reply, third party video player, call block, hide online status, hide typing status, do not disturb, and more.
The Delta mod also allows users to send high-resolution photos, photos and videos of large sizes, and even extend the duration of status. However, the biggest feature with this mod is the ability to edit messages that have already been sent.
Should you get WhatsApp Delta?
WhatsApp itself requests users to not use modified versions of WhatsApp as those are illegal to use and download. In fact, those using these modified version can face account ban, both the name and even the phone number.
Additionally, these apps are not available officially on the Google Play. Downloading the app from third-party sources remains your only option and in that way, you are opening your phone to harmful malware. Hence, it is advisable to not try these modified versions for keeping the data privacy and security intact.
