WhatsApp, one of the most widely used messaging applications in the world, has released a huge number of new features in 2021. These new features and updates were released in order to make the app more easy and comfortable for the users and also to remove certain bugs. Not just a communication tool to share images, videos, audio, and status, WhatsApp app can be used to make payments and do business too. WhatsApp in 2021 has been actively engaged with its users by rolling out feature after feature and much of this has a lot to do with the fact that competition from rivals like Telegram and Signal has become even more fierce. This is especially so after WhatsApp started a huge controversy over the privacy issue that caused a huge number of its users to delete the app itself.

11. Novi: It is a small pilot program that has been released in the US. It is expected to be released in other parts of the world soon.
