WhatsApp just got a gigantic update; get it this way

WhatsApp users can now add as many as 512 members in a group chat. The feature is rolling out for android and iOS.

One of the biggest WhatsApp updates has just been rolled out and you should get, if you are fond of large gatherings for personal or professional purposes. . WhatsApp has expanded its group member capacity limit allowing users to add as many as 512 people in a single WhatsApp group. The new feature was rolled out on June 10 and is now available for both android as well as iOS users. Earlier the number of WhatsApp group chat members was limited to 256 only. WhatsApp announced the larger group capacity feature a few months back along with the 2GB file sharing limit and emoji reactions feature. While the larger file size and emoji reactions features were released earlier, the larger group chat is available now. Here's all you need to know about the new WhatsApp group chat feature.

WhatsApp group members limit increased up to 512 members

WhatsApp group chat gets bigger with a feature to add up to 512 members on its new 2.22.11.75 version for iOS and 2.22.12.77 version for Android. This means, users with the new WhatsApp update can now add up to 512 members to a group chat. Those who don't have the new updated WhatsApp version can download the new update from the Google Play Store for android or App Store for iOS. To use this feature, create a group, go to add participants and look for 0/512 options to know if this new update is available for you or not. Make sure you use an up-to-date version of the app.

Apart from larger group features, WhatsApp has also increased the file size to be sent in a chat for up to 2 GB. Earlier users could only attach files of a 100MB in size but that's now been expanded to 2GB making it easier to send videos and large files. Also Read: WhatsApp update! Moreover, the app is also working on a message edit feature, undo option for deleted chats and double verification code while logging into a new device. WhatsApp is likely to roll out the double verification feature for beta testers soon. Once the feature will be available, any successful attempt to log into the user's WhatsApp account from another device will require an additional verification code to confirm.
