Xbox Series S is available at its cheapest ever price today! Even though as the semiconductor shortage continues to plague the industry and Microsoft’s flagship Xbox Series X has been absent from the shelves since a long time, it is the cheaper Series S that is readily available in India. The Xbox Series S is a watered-down variant of the Series X but offers all the next-gen console benefits.

Hence, if you want to buy the gaming console today, you are in luck. The Xbox Series S is available on Amazon (Yay!) and you can save some Rupees while you make the purchase. The Series S was launched at a price of Rs. 34,990 back in 2020 but today, you can pay Rs. 33,390 on Amazon. That is a saving of Rs. 1,600, which is a good deal for gamers on a budget. You can use that to get a new Xbox Game Pass subscription, or a new title with that money.

Note that the Xbox Series S is only available in the white colour variant, and comes as standard with a single Xbox Wireless Controller. You can also find a couple of bundles for the Series S console on Amazon.

For those looking for an affordable gaming console for their casual gaming needs, the Xbox Series S is a good option to consider. In fact, for the price it sells, no other console or gaming laptop can provide the same gameplay experience. The Series S lets you play games in 2K resolution at up to 120 fps. The console even supports ray tracing, which is something you don’t find in affordable gaming PCs.

The best part though is its Quick Resume feature that lets you pick up a game from where you last left — no save games needed. Additionally, you get access to the Xbox Game Pass service that lets you experience all the latest games without buying any of them.

That said, there are a few disadvantages with the Xbox Series S. The first one is its limited storage of 512GB, of which only 364GB is available to you. Hence, you won’t be able to load up your entire gaming library on the console. Secondly, the Series S isn’t as capable as the Series X console, which means the graphics quality on this one will not be the sharpest and full of details.
