Xiaomi Poco F1 Lite key specifications revealed ahead of official launch

Xiaomi's new sub-brand Poco is gearing up to launch a new smartphone. Dubbed as Poco F1 Lite, the new handset has made an unofficial appearance on Geekbench benchmarking platform. The listing has revealed keys specifications of the smartphone.

According to the Geekbench listing, Xiaomi Poco F1 Lite runs on Android Pie out-of-the-box. For performance, it will use Qualcomm's Snapdragon 660 processor, the same chipset that powers Xiaomi's Redmi Note 7.

Xiaomi Poco F1 will feature up to 4GB of RAM. The phone scored 1,341 and 4,830 points on single-core and multiple-core benchmark tests.

Xiaomi Poco F1 Lite is expected to join the long-awaited Poco F2 which had made an appearance online late last year. Leaked specifications of the Poco F1 successor revealed older Snapdragon 845 processor and 6GB of RAM. It's highly likely Poco F2 will debut with the latest Qualcomm chipset.

Xiaomi Poco F1 launched in India and globally last year. Focused on power users, Poco F1 comes with liquid cooling mechanism and software-based optimisations for graphic-intensive apps. It's also the cheapest smartphone to run Qualcomm Snapdragon 845 processor.
