You can now schedule tweets from Twitter's web app
Twitter has also rolled out the option to save tweets for later on its web app. This feature has been available on Twitter's mobile apps.
Twitter has introduced the ability to schedule tweets from its desktop version itself. It also rolled out a new “save for later” option for users to keep tweets as drafts on the web app.
Twitter started experimenting with scheduled tweets back in November and some users started receiving the feature earlier this month. Twitter already offers Tweetdeck for scheduling tweets, and there are other tools available. But this one doesn't require any additional app.
Not quite ready to send that Tweet? Now on https://t.co/fuPJa36kt0 you can save it as a draft or schedule it to send at a specific time –– all from the Tweet composer! pic.twitter.com/d89ESgVZal

The schedule tweet option is placed on the compose box itself. Once you compose a tweet just tap on the calendar icon. Here you can choose the date and time you want your tweets to go up on. Tweet scheduling hasn't come to its mobile apps though. It's only available for the web app now.
You can also save tweets as drafts on Twitter's web app now. This feature has been available on its mobile app for iOS and Android. Now whenever you close the compose box without sending out your tweet you'll get an option to save it for later. You can then check your drafts under “Unsent tweets” in the compose box, and tweet it whenever you want to.
Twitter's latest features can be pretty helpful for those who use its web app frequently. However other social tools like Tweetdeck and Buffer give users more control over scheduling tweets and keeping a track of their accounts. But it's still good for personal users and using one less app is always welcome.
