G-Shock launches limited-edition G-Steel watch inspired by the African rock python

Casio India has launched the GST-B300 G-Steel watch for men. This limited-edition watch comes with a front button featuring the Carbon Core Guard structure and is housed in a distinctive design motif that's inspired by wildlife elements.

From the late 1990s, G-Shock has been making special edition models in collaboration with various environmental organisations and follows the theme of “Love the Sea and the Earth”. These collaboration models support the efforts made by Wildlife Promising, an authorised non-profit organisation that works towards the coexistence of humans and wildlife in Africa.

The design on the GTS-B300 is inspired by the patterns on the skin of the African rock python, the largest snake in Africa and also listed as an endangered species under the Washington Convention.

The base model of the GTS-B300 sports the rock python patterns all over and has the “Love the Sea and the Earth” logo on the back of the dial. The packaging of the GTS-B300 is also decorated with the same patterns.

The GTS-B300 comes with superior shock resistance and high durability. The watch has a disk indicator at 6 o'clock that shows the current mode and charge level, and a front button that completes the overall look.

In terms of functionality, the watch comes with automatic time adjustment via Bluetooth, and features world time setting for over 300 cities. It also includes an alarm and countdown timer settings, solar charging system and a high-luminosity full auto double LED light.
