Cyberpunk 2077 could soon be available in console enhanced versions for Xbox X/S and Playstation 5 (PS5). Ahead of the game publisher CD Projekt RED's video event, scheduled later for today, the optimised title has already been spotted on the Xbox Store. Yesterday, the Xbox Store was updated and since then it shows a version of the role-playing game (RPG) optimised for Xbox X/S. Further developments have now shown that the current generation update of Cyberpunk 2077 is available for download on the Xbox Store. Cyberpunk 2077 Xbox release update is about 41.56GB. While no Cyberpunk 2077 PS5 release update has been seen, it is expected to go live before or after the CD Projekt stream. If you are interested in the game, you should not miss out on the stream. This comes after a report by Gamespot that revealed that Cyberpunk 2077 has been listed on the Xbox Store along with other popular titles such as Metro Exodus, Grand Theft Auto (GTA) trilogy, Assassin's Creed: Valhalla and others. This makes for an exciting time and the news came just ahead of CD Projekt's REDstream event, scheduled to take place on Twitch.

Cyberpunk 2077 coming to Xbox Series X/S

Cyberpunk 2077 is an action RPG game that takes place in an open Cyberpunk universe. The game is famous for its customisable ‘cybernetic' modifications to the main character, which not only gives it a unique look for every player but also gives a chance to add preferred abilities. The game first launched in December 2020, and within a year, rose to the top selling games on Steam.

In November 2021, CD Projekt RED revealed that the game will be released with an update for current generation consoles in the first quarter of 2022. Now, with the leaks, it looks like today's REDstream event will announce Cyberpunk 2077 Xbox and PS5 release.

Yesterday, the game's official twitter handle posted, “Let's meet tomorrow, Feb 15th, at 4PM CET, at the usual place: https://twitch.tv/cdprojektred. See you there!” The stream is scheduled to take place on Twitch at 8:30 PM IST, today.
