Epic Games’ Unreal Engine launches Women Creators Program in India to bring more women into the spotlight

This first of its kind Women Creator’s Program has been launched by Epic Games to get more women storytellers into the spotlight.

Epic Games' Unreal Engine has announced, ‘The Women Creators Program', which will select some talented women producers and VFX professionals from India to participate in a four week-long virtual training and mentoring program. The program, starting April 19, will select 15 women to be mentored by former Unreal fellowship graduates along with Unreal Engine evangelists.

The main idea behind this program is to inspire and train women creators and form a community of creators.

The applications for Women Creators' Program are now open and those interested can apply through this link. The deadline is April 10.

The Women Creators Program program was announced through a panel discussion with women creators in partnership with ASIFA India on March 25.

This program has evangelists and women mentors on the panel include - Vani Balgam, Creative Producer-Dancing Atoms; Charuvi Agarwal, Founder and DirectorCDL; Marta Ampudia Dalmau; Arvind Neelakantan, Tech Evangelist at Epic Games; Dean Reinhard, Technical Account Manager at Epic Games and Karan Parikh, Founder- Green Rain Studios and Unreal Authorized Instructor partner for Epic Games.

The workshop training will cover the VFX industry's relevant themes like Animation and DCC workflows, World Building and Terrain Tools, Lighting and Post Processing, Material Editor, Sequence, Livelink, and Blueprints.
