The online battle royale reminds one of the Japanese show Takeshi's Castle. It lets you play as one of the sixty jelly-bean-like characters racing among other players, and tackling obstacle courses along the way. It features both solo and team games, and the number of players reduces as the game progresses. The player who grabs the crown first or manages to stay alive the longest wins.
Players can also purchase costumes such as a pineapple or T. Rex. It recently launched the Red Panda costume for Valentine's Day. Costumes can also be won by playing and winning the game.
Fall Guys developer Mediatonic released Season 2 last fall which features medieval-themed games. It also introduced a ‘Show Selector' which is a curated playlist for players to pick the types of rounds they prefer to play.
