Epic Games' most popular game Fortnite is about to get a lot more interesting, with the arrival of the company’s new ‘festival’ that will take place in the game in the form of a new two-week summer event. The company had published a mysterious invite to a ‘Cosmic Summer Celebration’ party that would be held on Believer Beach on Saturday, and now the company has divulged more details about the game.

Epic is known to announce large events inside the game, including massive gaming events, celebration events, as well as in-game concerts. The ‘Cosmic Summer Celebration’ party that the company has invited gamers to attend appears to be the main event planned for the summer holidays, but the company could also be planning more events, according to SlashGear.

As part of the company’s new Cosmic Summer celebration, the company had previously invited gamers to come to Believer Beach on June 22 at 9AM ET (or 6:30 PM IST) with an event titled Cosmic Summer Celebration. However, since that’s a timing that’s likely not convenient for all users, the company says that the event will last a lot longer. In fact, the Cosmic Summer Celebration will go on for two weeks from June 22, according to Epic.

The Fortnite developer has also teased the arrival of new quests in the game as well as new rewards, but stopped short of providing any details about the features. It looks like gamers will simply have to wait for the event to start, unless Epic decides to reveal more features later today, a day before the ‘festival’ is scheduled to begin.

While Android users will be able to continue playing Fortnite on their smartphones via the Epic Store, iOS users are still locked out since Apple booted the game from the store for not complying with its in-app purchases rule. Gamers in India who do have access to the game can tune in on Tuesday at 6:30 PM and head over to Believer Beach in order to find out what quests and rewards Fortnite has in store as part of the upcoming two-week Cosmic Summer Celebration event.
