Garena Free Fire getting new weapons and features with an update
Garena Free Fire, a popular battle royale game is all set to get an update that brings massive updates regarding weapon rebalancing and assault rifles. The update will make M4A1 more powerful by increasing it damage stats, better rate of fire and increasing the range. Besides this the max recoil will go down and so will the time taken to recoil while moving. In addition to this, the update will increase the damage caused by P90 SMG while reducing the recoil time.
As for the Vector SMG weapon, the Garena Free Fire update will bring dual wielding options. This means that the damage will be double. However, the range will be reduced. Nonetheless, this is the first ever weapon in Garena Free Fire that gets dual wielding options.
The maintenance downtime will be from 9.30am to 5.15pm IST. “During this time, players will not be able to enter the game but you can continue playing as usual,” said the developers.
Some of the other changes that the upgrade will bring, includes Bermuda Shells that will introduce to obtain Fireworks, and Music Arcade besides Dynamic Lighting. This comes in addition to surfboard adjustments and weapon status adjustment.
The update brings Operation Chrono event as well that will let players play as Chrono, a character based on footballer Cristiano Ronaldo. The event is based on a futuristic slum with advanced technology.
