Pokemon Cafe Mix, Pokemon Smile games launched: All you need to know
Pokemon Snap is also making a comeback on the Nintendo Switch.
The Pokemon Company launched two new Pokemon games for Nintendo Switch, Android and iOS. Pokemon Cafe Mix lets you develop a cafe with Pokemon as your customers, while Pokemon Smile is a cute and fun way to get kids to brush their teeth.
Pokemon Cafe Mix is a puzzle game where you have to solve puzzles to complete different tasks and build your cafe. Each puzzle has a different objective, and you will also have Pokemon as your staff. At launch, Eevee will be the first Pokemon staff. Pokemon Cafe Mix looks super cute with even the company explaining it like this -
“Continue solving puzzles to create delightful Pokémon-themed café offerings that are almost too adorable to eat or drink, and you'll soon have more Pokémon joining your staff!”
Pokemon Cafe Mix will launch globally on the Switch, Android and iOS on June 23.
Pokemon Smile is already available on iOS and Android. It's a game that tries to make brushing teeth fun for kids. It uses the phone's camera to play the game and kids have to brush their teeth to rescue Pokemon that have been captured by cavity-causing bacteria.
The Pokemon Company also announced the launch of an upgraded Pokemon Snap for the Switch. The classic Nintendo 64 game will arrive in a new avatar for the Switch. The new version will let players explore deserts, jungles and more areas as they photograph popular Pokemon and also witness never-before-seen Pokemon expressions and behaviours. Its release date hasn't been revealed though.
