Niantic's super popular Pokemon Go always has something exciting going on. Currently, there are Uxie, Mespirit, and Azelf raids happening across the world and if you are lucky, you can catch shiny versions of these very rare Pokemon. There is also a special task called “Finding your voice” that's currently on and if you complete it you get a chance to catch Meloetta, a rare Pokemon that was introduced during the Pokemon Go Fest earlier this year. If you could not get your hands on it then, now is your chance.

Now, if you are familiar with Pokemon Go you'll know that to do these tasks you need a lot of Pokeballs, berries, potions, and revives. And free stuff in this department always helps. It's not often that Niantic gives away free stuff but they do share some free promo codes from time to time on Twitter. And there are a lot of things you can redeem from these free codes and they change every time.

Redeeming what these codes have to offer is helpful, particularly in times like these since we are not always stepping out to visit gyms and Pokestops for items. You can get items like Pokeballs, avatar clothing, raid passes, potions, berries, revives, incense, etc from these special promo codes. “Niantic distributes a limited number of one-time use codes in conjunction with special events or sponsored partnerships,” the Niantic website explains, and we've claimed the latest codes, and one of them seems to have been created in a partnership with Samsung.

The first code gets you t-shirts and caps for your avatar, created in a partnership with Samsung. The second code gets toy 10 Pokeballs.

How to redeem Pokemon Go Promo Codes

Pokemon Go players can use promo codes in two ways at the moment. One is directly through the game and the other is from the Niantic website's Offer Redemption page. iOS users have to do it from the website though, the option to redeem these codes from the game is not available to them. Android users can do it either of the two ways.

- Log in and then enter the promo codes just as they are listed above.

Once this is done, you will receive an in-game notification with a list of the items that have been added to your inventory.

- Scroll all the way down and you will see a text field at the end where you can enter the promo codes.
