If you did not get a chance to pre-order the Sony PlayStation 5 for the first time, you might be out of luck because there might not be a second round of pre-orders.

The company recently confirmed to Gadgets 360 that PS5, which went on pre-orders in India for the first time on January 12 for a few minutes only, will not be available for the second time on the ecommerce platform.

It is worth mentioning that the console went on sale for just a few minutes before being sold out, Leaving several gamers and enthusiasts in disappointment, as they were trying to get their hands on it since quite some time.

“Keeping the current situation in mind, we kindly urge all customers to keep their health and safety first and refrain from visiting any retail store to pre-order a PS5. Please stay in touch with retailers for the next pre-order phase,” the company sent in a statement right after the initial pre order window was closed.

But now it looks like some enthusiasts and gamers might have to wait for longer than expected to get their hands on this latest gaming console. We are not planning pre order for PS five before second February. Please stay in touch with retailers for future pre order updates, said the PlayStation India team.

In a statement, the Japanese stock form has not yet made clear on how many units did it put for pre-orders in the initial round. And how many is it planning to bring on February 2 when the sale begins.

What might add fuel to fire for frustrated customers, is that the company not only initially delayed its launch in India, but also brought the PlayStation 5 with 4K UHD Blu-ray drive option in India. It also means that those who want to buy the PlayStation 5 digital edition might have to wait for longer.
