PUBG New State found 10 million players on Day 1 amid silly bugs
PUBG New State has found 10 million downloads on its first day of global availability. The game got released on both Android and iOS.
PUBG New State has found 10 million downloads on its first day. Krafton's flagship battle royale game for the mobile platforms found almost 10 million takers overall, while it ranked top on the iOS App Store charts. That is significantly good for a brand new mobile game but note that it had got 40 million pre-registrations prior to its release.
That does not compare well, given that this was one of the most anticipated mobile games this year. PUBG New State also had a shaky start in India with lots of bugs, some of which eventually led to bricking a couple of Android devices.
PUBG New State gathers 10 million downloads
Ever since its availability from the wee hours of November 11, players had faced a couple of issues with the title. The game kept showing server connection issues, had inconsistent gameplay experience, and an overall unfinished package.
We had played the game too and the initial impressions have not been good. In fact, those who are wondering whether to make the jump from BGMI aren't missing out much with the new version. The graphics look slightly better and so are character animation, but the overall experience is largely similar to BGMI. The graphics quality is on par, or inferior at times, to Call of Duty: Mobile.
While it may take some time for Krafton to fix the early issues and improve the overall experience, PUBG New State is still worth a try; more so as it is a free download for everyone. Those who had pre-registered for the game are set to geta free vehicle skin as well as in-game currency.
