Sony PS5 release date for India shows up on the official website, gets pulled yet again

The details on pre-orders and bundle offers are not known yet.

UPDATE: The date has been removed once again.

Earlier this month we saw Sony briefly putting up the India release date of its PlayStation 5 (PS5) console as November 19, 2020. However, since the date was pulled up, it wasn't for sure if that date was the final one or not. Now, the firm has finally revealed the date once and for all. And indeed, it is November 19 as mentioned previously. This was initially spotted by The Mako Reactor website. The details on pre-orders and bundle offers are not known yet.

Sony has already announced the PS5 prices for India. The new console will set you back by Rs 49,990 for the regular edition and by Rs 39,990 for the digital edition. The DualSense Wireless Controller will cost you Rs 5,990, the HD camera comes for a Rs 5,190, the Pulse 3D Wireless Headset is for Rs 8,590, the media remote is for Rs 2,590 and the DualSense Charging Station is for Rs 2,590.

Sony also released the price details of some of the PS5 games like Demon's Souls and Marvel Spiderman Miles Morales: Ultimate Edition.

On the global scale, a recent report from Reuters stated that Sony is seeing "very considerable" demand for its PlayStation 5 (PS5) console via pre-orders. Sony pre-sold as many PS5 consoles in the first 12 hours in the United States as in the first 12 weeks for its predecessor PlayStation 4 device, Jim Ryan, CEO of Sony Interactive Entertainment, said to the agency.
