Pokemon Unite free game on Nintendo Switch? In just hours, the wait is about to end for all those Nintendo Switch users who have been waiting for one of the most anticipated Switch titles to launch - Pokemon Unite. Well, the game will finally, be launched and it will be made available for download tonight itself. Unlike other Pokemon titles before it, the new game falls in the multiplayer online battle arena (or MOBA) genre, putting it in the same category as League of Legends, Dota 2, Smite, Vainglory and others. We reveal Pokemon Unite release date and time below, so just read on.

With the fast-paced game ready to drop today, gamers are waiting to download the game onto their Nintendo Switch devices. If you’re looking to download the game and give it a shot on your Nintendo Switch, here’s what you need to know about the new game.

**When will Pokemon Unite release?**

The game will release tonight at 12 AM Eastern Time (ET) which means the launch time in India works out to 9:30 PM. However, if you find that the game is not available at the specified time, you can check the social media handles of The Pokemon Company and Tencent to check whether it is available in your region. Keep in mind that only those players who have a Nintendo Switch can join in on the action today – smartphone support is still being worked on and will arrive in two months time.

**Pokemon Unite download size and how to pre-load the game.**

The download size of the game is rather low, according to reports that state users will not have to download more than 1GB to install the game. This is a far cry from the regular games, which can weigh in at almost ten times that size. This means that most users won’t have to make room on their storage to accommodate the new Pokemon Unite game. Users can preload the game as well, so the game will download and install itself, ready to be launched when the game goes live. This is a good solution for those unable to check what time the game officially launches in their region – the game will allow you to begin playing as soon as it is officially released.
