Panasonic Toughbook CF-SV8 launched in India

Panasonic on Monday launched the Toughbook CF-SV8 in India. The new Toughbook CF-SV8 is designed to function across extreme conditions ensuring efficiency and improved productivity for professionals.
One of the highlights of the newly launched laptop is its design. The Panasonic Toughbook CF-SV8 weighs approximately 919 gms and comes with a guarantee for 4 years. Panasonic says that it can survive drops up to 2.5 feet and can withstand 100kg force pressure. It can also sustain extreme weather conditions.

It comes with a 12.1-inches Full HD display with a resolution of 1920x1200 pixels. It is powered by 8th Generation Intel Core i5-8365U vPro processor that is paired with 8GB RAM and 256 GB SSD. It runs on Windows 10 Pro 64-Bit operating system and comes with high sound stereo speakers that provide an unobtrusive sound experience. It comes with a 5900 mAh Li-ion battery life that provides between 10.5 - 15.5 hours of run time.
For security, the Toughbook CF-SV8 comes with a Full HD 2-megapixel facial recognition web-camera that allows only the pre-registered users to log in, which effectively prevents others from using the laptop. It has a BIOS password, which prevents unauthorized use before the system boots, and an encryption key, TPM (security chip), which ensures that the data stored on the notebook cannot be accessed if stolen.
As far as connectivity is concerned, the Toughbook CF-SV8 has a standard LAN port, VGA, and HDMI for data projectors, printers, and displays. It also has as SD card slot, three USB 3.0 ,one USB 3.1 Type-C port that is compatible with Thunderbolt™ 3*4 and USB Power Delivery provides a seamless high-speed data transfer. Additionally, it has Intel Wireless-AC 9560 LAN and Bluetooth v5.0 for faster data transfer.
