Apple may launch these two iPhones 12 models before
A similar report has previously come from Bloomberg as well. However, it has been mentioned that the 5.4-inch and 6.1-inch iPhone 12 might come before the 6.1-inch and 6.7-inch iPhone 12 Pro models.
Apple launching four iPhones this year is no secret. It has been revealed several times by tipsters and analysts. A recent report also mentioned that while two phones will be launched on time, the other two might be coming at a later date due to supply issues, which is indeed tied up with the pandemic. A report from Digitimes states that out of the four iPhones, two 6.1-inch iPhone 12 models could come early while the smaller 5.4-inch iPhone 12 and 6.7-inch iPhone 12 Pro Max may arrive later.
“The new iPhone lineup may arrive in two stages, with two 6.1-inch models in the first and another two 6.7- and 5.4-inch devices in the second, said the sources, noting that shipments of SLP mainboards for the 6.1-inch models were kicked off in July and those for the 6.7- and 5.4-inch ones began in the second half of August,” adds the report.
A similar report has previously come from Bloomberg as well. However, it has been mentioned that the 5.4-inch and 6.1-inch iPhone 12 might come before the 6.1-inch and 6.7-inch iPhone 12 Pro models. Tipster Jon Prosser says that while all four iPhones will be revealed at the time of the launch, which will be in the week of October 12, the non-pro models will be going on sale before. The Pro models will arrive by November.
That said, the latest piece of information coming from Prosser is that there is a big announcement happening on September 8. This is most likely not the new iPhones but it’s expected to be a new iPad, more specifically the iPad Air 4.
