Poco M2 is going to be a new member of the company’s M-series. The phone is likely to offer a similar set of specifications as Redmi Note 9. Here is what we know about the phone officially.

Poco is going to launch a new smartphone in India on September 8. Called Poco M2, the new phone is expected to be a new variant of the recently launched M2 Pro. Ahead of the official launch, Poco has confirmed a few important features of the phone. Let’s take a look.

Design and display

Poco M2 is going to come with a full HD+ display. The company has not revealed the screen size but it’s likely to be almost same as the M2 Pro.

As far as the design goes, the phone will have a waterdrop-like notch on the front. The official renders also reveal metallic edges.

Camera

Poco M2 is going to come with four rear cameras. The cameras are placed vertically on the top centre of the back panel. The module houses three rear cameras. There is another small module next to it housing a sensor and LED Flash. The main module appears to have embedded the fingerprint sensor as well.

Performance

Poco X3

A day before the M2 goes official, Poco will launch Poco X3. Already the phone is confirmed to feature Qualcomm Snapdragon 732G processor. The phone will come with Android 10 out-of-the-box and 6GB of RAM.

According to reports, Poco X3 will house a 6.67-inch display with full HD+ resolution. The screen will reportedly support up to 120Hz refresh rate and 240Hz touch latency. A 5,160mAh battery coupled with 33W fast charging will power the phone.

Poco X3 will also offer four rear cameras including a 64-megapixel primary sensor which is expected to be Sony’s upgraded IMX686 sensor.
