Asus ROG Phone 3: Here’s what to expect from the next gaming phone

Asus' upcoming gaming smartphone, ROG Phone 3, has made another unofficial appearance on the web ahead of its official launch in July. Spotted on Bluetooth certification website, Asus ROG Phone 3 is seen with the latest Bluetooth 5.1 connectivity support.

As many as two models, ASUS_I003D and ASUS_I003DD, are listed on the Bluetooth website. While the listing does not give away key specs, but it hints that the official launch is closer than expected. Before this, Asus ROG Phone 3 has made appearances on Wi-Fi Alliance and EEC certification websites.

Asus ROG Phone 3 is rumoured to come with high-end specifications. It will have Qualcomm's top-end Snapdragon 865 processor coupled with up to 16GB of RAM and up to 512GB built-in storage. According to new leaks, Asus ROG Phone 3 will also be available in 8GB and 128GB variant.

Asus' upcoming gaming phone will reportedly feature a 6.59-inch full HD+ display. The screen could come with up to 144Hz refresh rate. The phone is also rumoured to feature a 64-megapixel rear camera. The gaming phone will have a 30W fast charger as well.

Asus recently confirmed the ROG Phone 3 will launch next month. The company did not disclose the official launch date of the phone. The upcoming smartphone will succeed the last year's ROG Phone 2 which is available in India for a revised price of 37,999.
