Bharti Airtel, as a part of its strategic alliance with OTT service provider Zee5, announced two new prepaid packs in India today. These prepaid packs that are worth 289 and 79 deliver premium Zee5 content along with data and calling benefits to Airtel's prepaid users.

The first plan is the 289 prepaid bundle. This plan offers 1.5GB data per data and it comes with a validity of 28 days. This means that users get a total of 42GB data in a month. In addition to data benefits, Airtel's prepaid subscribers also get 100 SMSs per day along with unlimited calling facility. Additionally, subscribers get access to the entire Zee5 catalogue, which includes hits such as Ghoomketu, ChintuKa Birthday, RangbaazPhirse and Lalbazaar among others. Other benefits include content from Airtel Xstream and Wynk Music subscription.

The second pack is a top up plan worth 79. This pack offers subscription to the entire Zee5 catalogue to the Airtel prepaid subscribers for 30 days.

It's worth mentioning that both the packs can be availed using Airtel's Thanks app, Airtel retail stores and the company's India website.

“With massive surge in consumption of digital content on smartphones, Airtel's new prepaid packs make it simpler for millions of customers to access rich content from ZEE5 without having to worry about managing separate subscription charges,” Bharti Airtel's Chief Marketing Officer Shashwat Sharma said on the occasion.

It is worth mentioning that the new prepaid packs come just a day after Airtel announced that its Platinum customers will get access to a faster 4G network via the company's new “Priority 4G Network.” In addition to getting faster 4G speeds, the company's Platinum subscribers will also get a preferential service at call centres and retail stores.
