Canon has just introduced its new full-frame mirrorless cameras EOS R6 & EOS R5 in India at 3,39,995 and 2,15,995 respectively. The key product here is the EOS R5 that can shoot 8K resolution videos with its 45-megapixel full-frame CMOS sensor. On the other hand, EOR R6 features a 20.1- megapixel full-frame CMOS sensor, which was the same sensor used in flagship EOS-1DX Mark III. The DIGIC X image processor found in EOS-1DX Mark III is available in both. This also helps them achieve the continuous shooting speed of up to 20fps at full resolution using the electronic shutter in addition to full AF and AE tracking. Photographers can achieve up to 12fps with mechanical shutter.

The camera and image sensor adds that with 45-megapixels, EOS R5 can still go up to ISO 51200 with an option to expand up to ISO 102400. Adding to this is the second generation of Dual Pixel CMOS AF, aptly called as Dual Pixel CMOS AF II along with 100% x 100% sensor coverage and 1053 autofocus points. And if you are manually selecting the autofocus points then you get options 5940 and 6072 points to choose from.

The two cameras also support all EF & RF series lenses with IS or Non IS category. While the EOS R5 has two card slots for CFexpress card and SD memory card, the EOS R6 has two card slots that accommodate both SD memory cards.

As for the connectivity, both DSLRs feature 5GHz and 2.4GHz wireless LAN along with FTP and FTPS. There's also 2x2 MIMO and wired LAN support for faster and more stable connections.
