Facebook's free web program, Internet.org, has officially launched in Indonesia, marking the firm's second largest launch in Asia till date.
The launch came as the initiative faces flak in India amid a raging debate on net neutrality in the country. Many initial content partners have pulled out of
Internet.org, citing concerns to protect net neutrality, reported TechCrunch.
Defending the program, Facebook CEO Mark Zuckerberg said that some connectivity was better than none.
The initiative went live in the Philippines last month.
