Goa beaches to get WiFi, CCTVs and information centres

The Coastal Circuit Project includes providing infrastructure at various coastal areas like tourist information centers and public amenities at 10 beaches.

The Centre has approved Goa's coastal circuit project under the 'Swadesh Darshan Scheme'.

Goa Tourism Minister Dilip Parulekar said that with this scheme, Goa will soon be allocated funds for development projects to be undertaken in the first phase along its coastal belt.

Talking to media, Parulekar said that 99.99 crores of central assistance is a record hiGoaghest allocation received by Goa Tourism since 2010.

The minister said the project includes providing infrastructure at various coastal areas like tourist information centers at Calangute, Baga, Anjuna, Morjim and Ashwem, public amenities at 10 beaches, providing CCTVs and wi-fi, safety and security measures and providing tourism signages.
