Google introduced 3D animals in Search back in 2019 at its I/O event. It has since been adding new characters to its 3D animals library. In line with Halloween, Google has added new animals, and characters that you can view using AR.

The new characters in Google Search 3D are hot dog, black cat, german shepherd, halloween, jack-o-lantern, and human skeleton. Getting these 3D characters through your smartphone is pretty simple. Just search for any of the characters listed above on Google. In the search results, the first box with the description of the animal will have an option to “View in 3D”. Tap on that to see the 3D animal or character.

You can augment the 3D animal to wherever you are, or you can view it as an object too. There's a lot more to do with the 3D animal. You can move it around wherever you want, and you can even expand it by 1000%. To do this, press on the animal and zoom in to expand it. There's also an option on top to share the 3D animal.

If you're bored with these 3D animals and Halloween characters, there's a lot more you can conjure in your house. Google's 3D collection features animals such as tigers, alligators, brown bears, dogs, cats, cheetahs, emperor penguins, giant pandas, horses, and lions. You can also view planets using Google's 3D Search.

Google had also dropped an Easter Egg for Easter Sunday this year. It added an Easter bunny to its collection of 3D animals.
