The world of WhatsApp is usually buzzing with details about the features that would be arriving on the messaging platform in the coming days. However, it was a relatively quiet week this time. This week we got to know about some features that the company has already rolled out on its platform.

For instance, the Facebook-owned messaging platform has rolled out a new animated sticker pack called Baby Shark in its app. This new sticker pack weighs just 3.4MBs and it is available for download in the company's Android and iOS-based apps.

Apart from the new sticker pack, we also got to know about two new features that the company is working on. First is the Sticker Search feature. This feature will enable users to search for stickers just the way they search for GIFs. Once enabled, the sticker search feature will appear towards the extreme left corner of the space wherein users search for emojis, GIFs and stickers. This feature is still in the developmental phase and it is available to select Android beta users only.

The other feature that the company is working on is called In-App Support. This feature will enable users to contact WhatsApp's support team directly from within the app. Users will be able to interact with the company's support team using a verified chat. This will not only make it easier for users to resolve their issues quickly and easily but it will also safeguard users from scammers who use WhatsApp messages to defraud users.
