WhatsApp is working on adding a number of new features to its platform. In the past couple of weeks we have heard about features such as catalogue shortcut, new storage usage and Always mute button among other things. Now, we have details about more features that will be available in the app in the coming days.

As per a report by WABetaInfo, WhatsApp is rolling out a new animated sticker pack in its Android-based app. The 3.4MB heavy sticker pack called Baby Shark is available only only in the company's Android app but also in its iOS-based app.

In addition to that, the company is also rolling out a new sticker search feature in its Android app. To give you a quick brief, this feature enables users to search for stickers in the app just as they search for GIF files of their choice. The blog site says that WhatsApp has started to partially enable this feature for select users. This means that if you got the feature, you will be able to see a new search icon in the sticker picker view. And if you haven't got the feature yet, you will get an update in the future.

Lastly, WhatsApp is also rolling out support for in-app support in its app. This feature will enable users to communicate with WhatsApp's official support team using a WhatsApp chat. The WhatsApp Support Chat will be a verified chat and it will be end-to-end encrypted like the rest of chat on the platform. It will not only enable users to chat with WhatsApp experts and find solutions to their queries but it will also reduce the chances of fraud. That said, this feature isn't available in the chat yet. It is possible that the company rolls out this feature with future updates.
