Amazon has introduced a new feature that enables Spotify subscribers to listen to content from the music streaming platform on their Echo smarts speakers. All users need to do is link their premium or free Spotify accounts with the Amazon Alexa app and ask Alexa to play their favourite playlist or podcast.

Notably, while Spotify is available on Echo smart speakers, it will be available on other Amazon devices such as Fire TV and mobile devices later this year.

Here's how you can listen to Spotify playlist on Amazon Echo smart speaker:

Step 1: Open Amazon Alexa app.

Step 2: Go to Settings app and select Music.

Step 3: Click on Link New Service and then tap on Spotify.

Step 4: Input your Spotify username and password.

Step 5: Select Default Services to set Spotify as your default music service.

Step 6: To play your Spotify playlist on Echo smart speaker just say, “Alexa, play Bollywood Acoustic on Spotify.”

Step 7: To play a song say, “Alexa, play Malang on Spotify.”

Step 8: To use Spotify Connect say, “Alexa, Spotify Connect on Kitchen Echo.”
